.... <br />.. .. <br />Council Minutes of 01-03-2012 <br />Resolution 2012-4 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />` Resolution authorizing and directing the Administrator of the North Olmsted Senior <br />~"' Center to file an application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for participation in <br />the Ohio Department for Natural Resources ("ODNR") Nature Works Program for the <br />purpose of obtaining financial assistance for a walking trail at North Olmsted Park and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to accept said assistance if awarded and to execute contract <br />documents with ODNR, as necessary, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney. Roll Call: Barker, yes with comment. I would like to thank our Senior <br />Services Director for doing her research on finding these things. Any time we can get <br />75%-80% free money, we should go for it. He thanked Jackie Chavez-Anderson. Roll <br />Call continued: Kearney, yes; Brossard, yes; Schumann, yes; Williamson, yes; Mahoney, <br />yes; Orlowski, yes. Resolution 2012-4 adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 941 of the Streets, Utilities and Public <br />Services Code entitled "Refuse Collection" in order to implement new standards for <br />refuse collection within the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council President Limpert scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, January 10, <br />2012 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the organization of Council. <br />Councilman Orlowski scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss 2012-5. The Mayor and Law Director <br />are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled an Intragoverrunental Relations Committee meeting <br />for Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 6:45 p.m. to interview an appointment to the BBCA <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Coun 'l, President Limpert adjourned the Council mee~at 8:32 p.m. <br />'~ '' I ,- `~ ~l <br />Marie Gallo, Clerk of Council uane K.
