Council Minutes of 09-17-2013 Councilman Schumann thanked Richner and the members of the Landmarks Commission. for their hard work on this. This is the second residence that will have landmarks status ""~` in North Olmsted. Mr. Richner has done a fine job with the research. Ordinance 2013- 79 approved 6-0. Ordinance 2013-83 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Chapter 513 of the General Offenses Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Drug Abuse Control" in order to create a local Code provision making illegal the possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. Ordinance 2013-84 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Section 351.20 of the Traffic Code of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Handicapped Parking" in order to establish jurisdiction in the North Olmsted Mayor's Court for the prosecution of handicapped parking ticket violations, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-85 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources to request proposals from personal services to obtain comprehensive municipal liability, automotive liability and physical damage, public officials errors and omissions, police professional liability, property, inland marine, boiler and machinery, broad form crime, EDP, umbrella, liquor liability and other various insurance coverage required by the City of North Olmsted, as a package, and, following selection by the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said insurance package, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-86 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to request proposals ("RFPs") from qualified firms to provide professional planning services for the 2015 Master Plan update and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a personal services contract with the firm selected in the RF'P process. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday September 24, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2013-85 and the electronic storage of Council documents. The Finance Director, Human Resources Director and Network Administrator are asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson scheduled and Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday September 24, 2013 at 8:30 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2013-83 & 2013-84 and a liquor permit. The Safety/Service Director is asked to attend. With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, President Jones adjourned the Council meeting at 8:15 p.m. 3
