Council Minutes of 06-ZS-2013 <br />.~ motion was seconded by Councilman Smith and passed unanimously. Resolution 2013- <br /><;, <br />57 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2013-59 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the contractor submitting <br />the lowest and best construction proposal, as approved by the Board of Control, for <br />construction services to perform the Springvale Golf Course Bio-Retention Project, <br />pursuant to the specifications on file with the City Engineer, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution 2013-59 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2013-60 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending the rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 to provide for the same salary range for the <br />Springvale Maintenance Supervisor as the Division of Public Works Foreman and the <br />Division of Waste Water Collection System Foreman; and otherwise restating the <br />compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel <br />for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker <br />made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />'~ Ordinance 2013-60 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2013-61 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution dispensing with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Edward Schepp in order to provide for transition and consulting services for <br />the position of Fire Chief, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson <br />made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Williamson moved for <br />adoption.
