Council Minutes of 06-18-2013 LEGISLATION `~ Ordinance 2013-41 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Permit and Inspection Fees", and declaring an emergency, as amended. Ordinance 2013-42 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Part Nine, Title One (Streets and Sidewalk Areas) of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code of the City of North Olmsted so as to add a new Chapter 900 and to amend existing Chapters 901, 903, 905 and 909, for in order to clarify required fees and deposits, and declaring an emergency, as twice amended. Ordinance 2013-52 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 1101 of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Subdivision Regulations" for the purpose of clarifying required deposits. Resolution 2013-54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2014, and submitting the same to the County Fiscal Officer, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2013-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013 and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds for the fiscal year 2014 for the County Club Boulevard Streetscape Project, Phase II; further authorizing the use of city funds as the local match; further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if awarded and to execute a contract with Cuyahoga County, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Chief of Police to apply for and the Mayor to accept, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, up to $33,252.00 in grant funding from the Bureau of Justice Assistance Partnership in order to purchase bullet proof vests for North Olmsted police officers in 2013 and 2014; further authorizing the Mayor to enter into any agreements with the appropriate federal or state agencies to accept funding on behalf of the city, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging to provide for 2013 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program for ,,,,,_ the North Olmsted Senior Center and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman ~,; Williamson made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review.
