Council Minutes of 06-04-2013 Ordinance 2013-49 introduced by Councilman Schumann on behalf of himself and ~~, Council members Williamson and Brossard was given its third reading. An Ordinance '~ amending Section 331.42 of the Traffic Code in order to increase the maximum fine for using a mobile communication device from three dollars to one hundred and fifty dollars. Councilman Schumann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2013-49 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2009-12 introduced by former Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Sections 161.01 and 161.11 of Chapter 161 (Employees Generally) of the North Olmsted Administrative Code in order to revise sick leave and vacation benefits and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to table Ordinance 2009-12. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2009-12 tabled 7-0. Ordinance 2009-113 introduced by former Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Director of Human Resources to request proposals for the development, implementation and management of a city deferred compensation plan; and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the firm selected in the RFP process. Councilman Barker made a motion to table Ordinance 2009-113. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2009-113 tabled 7-0. Ordinance 2010-108 introduced by Council members Kearney, Jones and Brossard was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 505.08 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code entitled "Animals and Fowl" in order to restrict the breeding of dogs that may be kept on residential lots in the city, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to table Ordinance 2010-108. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2010-108 tabled 7-0. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Orlowski scheduled an Intra-Governmental Committee meeting for Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. for Arts Commission appointments and to review Council appointments to boards and commissions and terms. Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday June 11, 2013 at 7:45 p.m. to discuss new Council committee assignments. At 8:00 p.m., the Mayor and guests will provide Council with an update and review of the first quarter of Mayor's Court for 2013. Councilman Brossard scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for Tuesday June 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2013-42. The Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson Scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for Tuesday ''~'" June 18, 2013 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss a liquor permit. The Mayor or his designee is asked "°'~ to attend. 5
