r. <br />Human Resources Department Budget Summary <br />NR <br />Personnel cost increase -One staffing change -Fleet Secretary was transferred to HR <br />Proposed Director salary increase per Mayor's proposal <br />Civil Service <br />Pre-employment -testing for Fire Chief and entry level firefighter/paramedic positions <br />Information Systems <br />Personnel - Network Administrator position remains vacant -for high level network issues we utilize <br />outside expertise <br />Helpdesk Coordinator and Help Desk Assistant are both full time positions <br />Computer Supplies - Smart Board -This is an interactive white board which can be used for <br />presentations, classes, training. It is mobile and will be used city wide. ~ 3 ~ ~ ~ <br />Outside Services - Network consultants necessary for high level troubleshooting and significant <br />network issues. Also, one consultant specific to serve as the Project Manager <br />~~ for rolling out various Munis modules i.e. Service workflow, Building inspections, <br />etc. <br />Dues - Software renewals and upgrades <br />Equipment Repair - Need to add storage to the San (Storage Area Network) or purchase disk storage <br />units because current storage is almost full. <br />HR, police and fire need to encrypt medical and other records which requires an <br />appliance be installed on the email server <br />Youth Services <br />Personnel - No staffing changes significantly impacting Salaries or Benefits <br />There are not significant changes in the division's budget <br />Senior Center <br />in 2012 to 55 000 in 2013 <br />Personnel - Modest salary increase for the Administrator from $49,500 $ , <br />Office Supplies- Additional supplies needed for the secretary <br />Computers- Smart Board for guest lecturers i.e. AARP driving classes, interact with family i.e. <br />military, movies and as an education tool <br />~~. .. <br />
