Mr. McKay conm~ended the Service Department for their work in removing branches that people had placed in the streets. Mr. McKay moved to adjourn into executive session to discuss environmental matters; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Council adjourned into executive session at 8:50 p.m. Council reconvened at 9:24 p.m. Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, August 25, at 7:45 p.m. and requested the Finance Director and Building Commissior~x attend. Mr. McKay scheduled a Safety Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, and requested Mr. Lundy or the Mayor attend. Mr. Musial scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting for 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, and requested that the Service Director attend. Mrs. Beringer scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, and requested that the Building Commissioner and Assistant Engineer McDermott attend.
