'`'~ MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF TfB; COUNCIL ~"' OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 15, 1993 Present: Council President Boeh~mer, Council l~nbers Babas, Leonard, Lind, McKay, Musial, Nashar, Beringer Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director James Burns, Clerk of Council.Barbara Semen Council President Boehmex called the meeting to order at 8:20 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Eagle Scouts James Black and Matthew Tessman. The minutes of the meeting of June 1, 1993 were approved as written. Mr. BoeYgner announced that the meeting would proceed with a special Legislation section. LEGISLATION Reso ution No. 93-85 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council. A resolution commending the achievement by James Black of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. The resolution was read in its entirety. Mr. Leonard moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and ccm$nittee review; .second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed urmnimously. Mr. Leonard moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion p~sssed urmni.mously. Resolution No. 93-85 adopted. Mr. BoetBmer asked James Black to ccxne forward, aril he was congratulated by members of Council ar~d the Administration. I+~yor Boyle presented James with a proclamation in recognition of his Eagle Scout Award. Resolution No. 93-86 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council. A resolution cc~nm~ending the achievement by Matthew Tessman of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. The resolution was read in its entirety. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed uc~r.itaously. Resolution No. 93-86 adopted. Mr. Boehmer asked Matthew Tesaman to come forward, and he was congratulated by members of Council and the Administration. Mayor Boyle presented Matthew with a proclamation in recognition of his Eagle Scout Award. President Boehmer recognized members of Boy Scout Troop 664 and Troop 53 who were attending the meeting. President BoeYmner made the following announcements: Ordinance 93-92 anti 93-93 are being added to the agenda; a special Council meeting will be held on Thursday, June 17, at 7 a.m. to consider Ordinance 93-94; a public hearing on the 1994 bwdget will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday June 29; a special Council meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29.
