<br />'`'~ MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF TfB; COUNCIL <br />~"' OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JUNE 15, 1993 <br />Present: Council President Boeh~mer, Council l~nbers Babas, Leonard, Lind, <br />McKay, Musial, Nashar, Beringer <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director <br />James Burns, Clerk of Council.Barbara Semen <br />Council President Boehmex called the meeting to order at 8:20 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Eagle Scouts James Black and Matthew Tessman. <br />The minutes of the meeting of June 1, 1993 were approved as written. <br />Mr. BoeYgner announced that the meeting would proceed with a special Legislation <br />section. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Reso ution No. 93-85 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mayor Boyle <br />and the entire Council. A resolution commending the achievement by James Black <br />of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. The resolution was read in its <br />entirety. Mr. Leonard moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings <br />and ccm$nittee review; .second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed urmnimously. Mr. <br />Leonard moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion p~sssed urmni.mously. <br />Resolution No. 93-85 adopted. Mr. BoetBmer asked James Black to ccxne forward, aril <br />he was congratulated by members of Council ar~d the Administration. I+~yor Boyle <br />presented James with a proclamation in recognition of his Eagle Scout Award. <br />Resolution No. 93-86 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle <br />and the entire Council. A resolution cc~nm~ending the achievement by Matthew <br />Tessman of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. The resolution was read in its <br />entirety. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings <br />and committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed uc~r.itaously. <br />Resolution No. 93-86 adopted. Mr. Boehmer asked Matthew Tesaman to come forward, <br />and he was congratulated by members of Council and the Administration. Mayor <br />Boyle presented Matthew with a proclamation in recognition of his Eagle Scout <br />Award. <br />President Boehmer recognized members of Boy Scout Troop 664 and Troop 53 who were <br />attending the meeting. <br />President BoeYmner made the following announcements: Ordinance 93-92 anti 93-93 <br />are being added to the agenda; a special Council meeting will be held on <br />Thursday, June 17, at 7 a.m. to consider Ordinance 93-94; a public hearing on the <br />1994 bwdget will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday June 29; a special Council <br />meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29. <br /> <br />
