Council Minutes of 6/1/93 Mrs. Babas, Chairperson of the Legislative Committee, reported: 1) Tt~ committee has received the Blue Ribbon Co~rmittee report. Council will meet as a Cc~mittee- of-the Whole to discuss the report. No Audience Participation LEGISLATION Orc~ ee No. 93-61 introduced by Mr. Lind wss given its third reading. An ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for -the installation of a stop sign on Concord Drive where the same intersects with Danberry Drive, thereby regulating traffic entering Danberry Drive, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind. moved for sdoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-61 adopted. Resolution No. 93-70 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bads for one (1) vacuum street sweeper, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-70 adopted. Resolution No. 93-71 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for one (1) integral tractor-loader-backhoe wheel type, and declaring an e~ergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-71 adopted. Ordinance No. 93-73 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Mayor aryd entire Council was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Dickson Associates, Inc., to provide architectural and engineering services pertaining. to plans to construct anew Fire Station No. 1 in the City of North Opted, a~ declaring an emergency. An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 93-22 entitled "An ordinance adopting a new and revised 521.10 of Chapter 521 entitled "health, Safety and Sanitation," which new and revised section shall be entitled "Non- smoking Areas in Places of Public Assembly and Public Buildings, as Amended" by adding thereto provisions for permitting smoking in specific areas of the Police Department.
