Council Minutes of 6/1/93 <br />Mrs. Babas, Chairperson of the Legislative Committee, reported: 1) Tt~ committee <br />has received the Blue Ribbon Co~rmittee report. Council will meet as a Cc~mittee- <br />of-the Whole to discuss the report. <br />No Audience Participation <br />LEGISLATION <br />Orc~ ee No. 93-61 introduced by Mr. Lind wss given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by <br />providing for -the installation of a stop sign on Concord Drive where the same <br />intersects with Danberry Drive, thereby regulating traffic entering Danberry <br />Drive, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind. moved for sdoption; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-61 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 93-70 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bads for <br />one (1) vacuum street sweeper, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-70 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 93-71 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />one (1) integral tractor-loader-backhoe wheel type, and declaring an e~ergency. <br />Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 93-71 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-73 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of the Mayor aryd entire <br />Council was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing and directing the <br />Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Dickson <br />Associates, Inc., to provide architectural and engineering services pertaining. to <br />plans to construct anew Fire Station No. 1 in the City of North Opted, a~ <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. -McKay moved for suspension of the rules .requiring <br />three readings; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. P4r. McKay moved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. Lind.; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-73 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-75 introduced by Mr. McKay oar behalf of Mayor Boyle was given <br />its second reading. An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 93-22 entitled "An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised 521.10 of Chapter 521 entitled "health, <br />Safety and Sanitation," which new and revised section shall be entitled "Non- <br />smoking Areas in Places of Public Assembly and Public Buildings, as Amended" by <br />adding thereto provisions for permitting smoking in specific areas of the Police <br />Department. <br />Ordinance No. 93-77 was introduced anti placed on first .reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and Mr. Lind.
