Council Minutes of 3/2/93 <br />LEGISLATION (continued) <br />Or ce No. - introduced by Mrs. Babas was given its second reading, An <br />ordinance adopting a new arxi revised Section 521.10 of Chapter 521 entitled <br />"Health, Safety and Sanitation,,, which new and revised Section shall be entitled <br />"Non-Smoking Areas in Places of Public Assembly and Public Bui.ldings." <br />Ordinance No. 93-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. An ordinance authorizing aryd directing <br />the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into ~ agr t with Howard, <br />Needles, Tammen and Bergendoff to provide engineering services pertaining to <br />preliminary plans, (Phase I) to provide grading, drainage, l~xiscaping aril <br />fencing for the addition of en earth mound along the proposed Crocker-Stearns <br />Road in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-24 was introduced arid. placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance to establish within the Special Revenue Fund Grorxp an "Economic <br />Development Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-25 was introduced anci placed an first reading by I+~iyor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing arxi directing the city engineer to accept and record a <br />dedication plat establishing additional right-of way for Duane Road in the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an urgency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Li.rxi. An <br />ordinance establishing a policy for certain benefits for all rat-barining unit <br />full time employees of the City of North Olmsted who have cx~leted their <br />probationary period. <br />Ordinance No. 93-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Ohio Council 8 <br />and Local ~~2681 of the ~nerican Federation of State, County anti Municipal <br />Employees, covering clerical arxi technical employees, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for tale installation and maintenance of a water <br />line for the purpose of circulation of water service by the City of Clevelarxi to <br />land owned by Kermeth R. Limpert and Lois Limpert, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordi.nanee to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year erxling December 31, 1993. Mr. Lind moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Babas; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-29 adopted. <br />Miscellanem~s Business <br />Mrs. Beringer ed a BZD meeting for either March 8 or 9--the enact date <br />will be set after checking with the Building Commissioner on his availability. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />
