A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for laboratory analytical services to support the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant, as detailed in tree specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Lind; motion passim unanimously. Resolution No. 93-13 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-14 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance anti sale of $2,000,000 notes in anticipa- <br />tion of the issuance of beds, for the purpose of improving, the municipal <br />sanitary sewer system by constructing, reconstructing, rehabilitating and <br />replacing sanitary sewers arld sanitary sewer cormections and by improving and <br />equipping the Wastewater Treatment Plant, together with the necessary appurten- <br />ances and work incidental thereto. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-14 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-16 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to <br />enter into an agreement with Msl.colm Pirnie, Inc., to provide engineering <br />services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. <br />Babas; motion passed unanmously. Mr. McKay moved. for adoption; second by Mrs. <br />Babas; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 93-16 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-17 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing arxi directing the Mayor of the City of Forth Olmsted to <br />enter into an agreement with John E. Foster & Associates, Inc., to provide <br />engineering and construction observation services for the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspense of the rules <br />requiring three readings; second by Mrs. Babas; motion passed unanimously. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and expenditures for the <br />City of North OLnsted for the year ending December 31, 1993. <br />Ordinance No. 93-19 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel and declaring an urgency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-20 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1309 of the Codified Ordinances, <br />entitled "National Electric Code", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-21 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading.
