Council Minutes of 2/16/93 <br />LEGISLATION (continued) <br />Ordinance No. 93-1 was introduced and placed on first reading. by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter <br />into an agreement with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc., to provide engineering services for <br />the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an urgency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance authorizing and: directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter <br />into an agreement with John E. Foster & Associates, Inc., to provide engi.rieering <br />and construction observation services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-18 was introduced and placed an first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and expenditures for the City <br />of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1993. <br />Ordinance No. 93-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Beringer. <br />An ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1309 of the Codified Ordinances, <br />entitled "National Electric Code", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North OLnsted to participate in the <br />Ohio Department of Transportation's Cooperative Purchasing Program, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 93-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Babas. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 521.10 of Chapter 521 entitled <br />"Health, Safety and Sanitation," which new and revised section shall be entitled <br />"Non-Smoking Areas in Places of Public Assembly and Public Buildings." <br />Miseellaneous Business <br />Mrs. Babas moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Leonard; second by Mrs. Beringer; <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. McKay and Mrs. Babas scheduled a joint meeting of the Environmental and <br />Legislative Committees for Wednesday, February 24, at 7:30 p.m. and requested that <br />Service Director Bohlmarm attend. Ordinance No. 93-22 will be discussed. <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Coarxnittee meeting for Tuesday, February 23, at 7:30 <br />p.m. and requested that Mayor Boyle and Finance Director Burns attend. <br />With the agenda berg completed aryd there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 8:45 p.m. <br />~, <br />c <br />arbara L.
