Council Minutes of 12/6/94 <br />~ Ordinance No. 94-165 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />;~,,, ordinance to transfer and make appropriations far current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1994. <br />Ordinance No. 94-170 was introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the entire <br />Council. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the IViUNICIPALITY, inthe matter of the <br />hereinafter described improvem~t and requests the cooperation of the County of <br />Cuyahoga by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the <br />COUNTY. <br />Resolution No. 94-175 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resohrtion authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of <br />asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-176 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted <br />F.O.P., Ohio Labor Council, which agreement is the collective bargaining agreement <br />between the City and the North Ohn~ted Police Department and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Lind moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay. <br />Roll call: Lind, yes; McKay, yes; Musial, yes, Nashar, yes; Sariager, yes; Limpert, no; <br />Bahas, yes. Motion passed with six affirmative votes and one negative vats. Mr. Lind <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />94-176 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 94-177 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, during the year 1995, all tax money due and owing said city from any collection <br />source. <br />Ordinance No. 94-178 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into an agreet for the sale of <br />real property located at 30338 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, and the t of <br />the interest of the City of North Olmsted in a certain agreement to purchase real property <br />located at 30374 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 94-179 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and Mr. Nashar. A resolution commending the General Motors plant in <br />Parma. and UAW Local 1005 in the receipt of the National Rehabilitation Association's <br />Organizational Award. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously.
