Council Minutes of 11/15/94 <br />LEGISLATION TQ ~ <br />Ordinance No. 94-119 introduced by Mrs. Bahas was given its second reacting. An <br />ordinance providing for the submiasion to the electors of the City of North Oh~ed of a <br />proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Ohred retatiacg to the <br />establishment of a Department of Budget and Management, and decg ag emergency. <br />Mr. McKay moved to table; second by Mrs. Beringer; mc~ion pawed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 94-199 was tabled. <br />ML.SCELI..~ANEUUS BITSINESS <br />Mr. McKay moved that Co~cd go into executive session for the business of discussing <br />senior housing; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Council adjourned into executive session at 9:06 p.m <br />Council reconvened at 9:22 p.m <br />Mrs. Beringer asked that the minutes reflect that City Council offered its sympathy to the <br />widow of Chester Remmel. Mr. Remmel was a past member and chairperson of the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals. He served on the BZA from February of 1977 to December <br />of 1988. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Bahas and Mr. Lind; second by Mr. <br />Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for <br />Wednesday, November 30, at 7:30 p.m to discuss Ordinances 94-172 and 94-174.
