Council Minutes of 9/20194 <br />Ordinance No. 94-136 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $400,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring real estate and pay~g cotes of constructing <br />a fire station thereon, and declaring an emerg~cy. Mr. Lmd moved for su of the <br />rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Lin~eit; motion passed unnsly. Mr. <br />Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 94-136 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-137 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $250,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a fire truck, together with the necessary <br />equipment and appurtenances thereto, and declaring an emerg~cy. Mr. Lind moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; mxrtion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Li~ert; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-137 adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-138 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $245,000 notes, in antici~ration of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of irr~roving the city's park and recreation: fitcilities by <br />acquiring and installmg heating, ventilatiag and air conditioning equipn~nt for the <br />Community Cabin; by resurfacing with asphalt and curbing, and acquiring and installling <br />street lighting for the Recreation Center parking lot and the driveway from Loran Road to <br />that parking lot; by reconstructing and paving with concrete the existing waficway from <br />Lorain Road to the Recreation Center; and by draining and landscapiā¬rg the Recreation <br />Center site, all together with the necessary appurtenances wind work incidental thereto, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules re+quir~g three <br />readmgs; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-138 <br />adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-139 was introduced and placed on first readmg by Mr. Lmd. An <br />ordnance providmg for the issuance and sale of $150,000 notes, in antici~ration of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of i~roving the electrical system at city fitcdities and <br />installing a backup electrical system for the city's computer, telephone and egency <br />lighting systems, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, <br />and declaring an emerg~rcy. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lmd moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Ordnance No. 94-139 <br />adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-140 was introduced and placed on first readmg by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordnance providing for the issuance and sale of $55,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of renovating, rehabilitating and otherwise improving <br />Town Hall, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declarg-g an <br />emergency.
