Council Minutes of 9/20/94 <br />by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Resident Dennis Lambert asked if Federal <br />matching funds had been receivexi for this project and for Ordi~ce 94-138. Mr. Burns <br />said no; however, a couple of years ago the city did receive CDBG funds for a different <br />project at Town Hail. Mr. Lmd moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas. Roll call: <br />Lmd, yes; Bahas, yes; Limltert, no; McKay, yes; Mussel, yes; Naskar, yes. Motion passed <br />with five affirmative votes and one negative vote. Ordinance No. 94- i 40 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-141 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $50,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving City Hall by converting an existing <br />storage area into a conference room and offices and acquim~g fiuniahings and equipment <br />therefor, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Lind moved for su~ension of the rules requiring threar readings; second by Mrs. <br />Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-141 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-142 was introducal and placed on first read~g by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the installation of "No Stopping or Stand~g" signs on Butternut Ridge Road from 26533 <br />Butternut Ridge Road eat to the bridge over I 480 with said signs placed on the south <br />side of Butternut Ridge Road and declari~ig the same to be an emergency. Mr. Nashar <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring threw readings and committee revue, second <br />by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moveai for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-142 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-143 was introduced and placed on firs reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />installation of a traffic sagnal system at the intersection of Rim's No. 2 drive and Great <br />Northern Boulevard and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-144 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of Mrs. Saringer. An ordinance acceptuig a traffic control equipment easement <br />located on property owned by Cohii~iia Land Development Co~any and designated as <br />Permanent Parcel No. 236-5-97-100 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said <br />easement shown on Exhibit `B", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-145 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of Mrs. Saringer. An ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement <br />located on property owned by B. & G. Limited Partnership and designated as Permanent <br />Parcel No. 236-5-103 by Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on <br />Exhibit `B", and declaring an emergency. <br />12 <br />~~;x <br />
