Wendy's Restaurant, 250 Lorain Road, a proposal for remodebag by constructing a <br />small addition to the restaurant and reconfiguring the parking area. Repre~.ting Wendy's <br />were Lee Goodman, Ed Liversidge and Joe Btofan. The BZA granted a 10 foot variance <br />for a buffer on the west property lme. The plans were approved by the Flannmg <br />Commission on July 12. The BZD Committee requested the ~sts3latiton of reflective <br />flexible impact delineators for the proposed curb as recomm~ded by the Engineering <br />Department. Mrs. Beringer moved to approve with the recommendations of ARB, <br />Planning Commission, Engineering and BZD Committee; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />e. Unoca176 service station at 28233 Lorain Road, a proposal to renovate the burg, <br />construct a small addition and add landscaping. Mr. Z.eppeteIla, the owner, and Mr. <br />iJlisse, the contractor, presented the pleas. The BZA granted a 10 foot variance for the <br />landscape buffer on the side yard. The proposal was approved by the Planning <br />Commission on July 26 anal by the ARB on July 20. The committee had no moons. <br />Mrs. Beringer moved to approve with the recd 'ons of the P~nming Commission <br />and the ARB; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />f. Great Northern Dodge, 26100 Lorain Road, a proposal to construct an addition to the <br />existing facility which will connect two buildings. Mr. Fee, the architect was in <br />attendance. The plans were approved by the Phtmnffig Coaon on July 26 and the <br />ARB on July 20. The Buildk.g Department has requested an updated site plan for the <br />parking changes. The Commission recomn~ded a change m the degree angle of <br />the light fixtures from 45 degrees to 90 degrees. However, if the strut^ture is high enough <br />to block the light, this change will not be necessary. Mrs. Sar~ger moved to approve <br />with the recommendations of Planning Commission, ARB and the BZD Committee; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed uanas>nmously. <br />g. Barton Oaks subdivision improvt plan for 22 buildable lots was presented by Jack <br />Boss, developer. The committee had na objections. Mrs. Beringer moved to approve <br />subject to the recommendations of the Engineering Department; second by Mr. Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />h. Ordinance 93-154, which was originally introduced in December of 1993. This <br />legislation calls for the rezoning of land at the northwest corner of Dover Center Road and <br />Lorain Road. A public hearing wdl be held to discuss this legislation. <br />Mr. McKay, Chairperson of the lntra-Governmental Relations, Legislative and Long- <br />Range Planning Committee, reported: 1) The Legislative Committee met on July 6 and in <br />attendance were Council Members Bahas, Lind, Musial and McKay.
