Council Minutes of 7/5/94 <br />Resolution No. 94-105 was introduced and placed on firs reading by Mrs. Bahas. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for and accept bids for <br />miscellaneous hockey equipment to be sold in the Recreation Codex Pro Shop and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Bahas <br />moved to suspend the rules requiring three readffigs; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed <br />unauimously. Mrs. Bahas moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 94-105 adopted. <br />Ordmance No. 94-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to make emergency repairs on the <br />water line and gas line at the Wa~ewater Treatment Plant, without public bidding, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Lmd; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-106 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-107 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $400,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the pupose of improving the Recreation Center Codex by <br />surfacing and resurfacing parking areas and driveways, providing related drainage <br />improvements and constructing a building to house maintenance equipment therefor. <br />Ordinance No. 94-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Ohn~ed by providing for <br />the installation of a "No Left Turn" (R 121-24) sign with supplementary legend "7:00 a.m <br />to 8:00 a.m School Days, Except Buses" at the intersection of Revere Drive and <br />Butternut Ridge Road for traffic travelling in a northerly direction on Revere Drive and <br />turning west onto Butternut Ridge Road, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the installation of a "No Right Tum on Red From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m" sign at the <br />intersection of Lorain and Barton Roads regulating traffic travelling in a westerly <br />direction, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. McKay changed the time of the Legislative Committee meeting scheduled for 7 p.m <br />on Wednesday, July 6, to 7:30 p.m. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked the Mayor if the city had hired a professional title abstractor and <br />surveyor who would be familiar with the county records system to research Spriagvale <br />Country Club. This suggestion had been made in the appraisal report. <br />Law Director Gareau said that Chicago Title had done a title search. <br />9 <br />
