Council Minutes of 7/5/94 <br />Labor Day Parade would add to the prestige of the city, but he does not feel an exception <br />should be made for this one eveait. Mr. McKay said he has been apposed to liquor iii the <br />park for a long time--eve whhm 540 feet of the park. However, he feels the rgautation <br />of the city is important; and, since we have akeady given our word and caimm~tted to this <br />organization, he will support this one-tip evert. He wiIl never again vote for any liquor <br />or beer in the park. Pre ' B asked for the roll tali an the to the <br />ordinance. Roll call: McKay, yes; Nashar, yes; Saringer, no; R~usiai, no; Lind, no; <br />Limpert, no; Bahas, no. Motiarn whh two affirmative votes and five negative votes. <br />The ordinance was not Mr. Me.Kay moved to adopt Ordi3ianice 9498; second <br />by Mr. Nashar. Roll call: McKay, no; Na~kar, no; Sargiger, no; Mural, Deed; Lind, <br />no; Limpert, no; Bahas, no, Motion .failed with seven negative votes. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sale of $2,964,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the puipase of con~ructing, fiaomishing and equipping a fire station and <br />preparing, improving and egmg hs she. Mr. Lind moved for adaptio~i; second by Mr. <br />Musial; motion passed unani~usiy. Ordinance No. 94-144 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-96 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for certain vohmtary withholding programs, <br />and declaring an emergency, as an~eiided. Mr. Lmd moved to su~end the rules requiring <br />three readings; second by Mr. Mu~ial; motion. passed unaiinnausly. Mr. Lied moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-96 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 94-99 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept bids for <br />an above-ground 1,000 gallon oil storage tank at the bus garage as detailedm the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-100 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to replace Chapter 927 entitled "Storm Water Retention Systems" with a new <br />Chapter 927 entitled "Storm Water Management and Urban Sediment Potion <br />Abatement Systems" of the Codified Ordmances of the City of North Oh~nsted, Ohio, as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 94-101 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by pmvidmg for <br />the prohibition of truck traffic on a portion of Country Club Boulevard. <br />Ordnance No. 94-102 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading.
