Council Minutes of 4/5/94 <br />,,~ Ordinance No. 94-63 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf <br />~,,,, of Mr. Nashar. An ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North <br />Olmsted to provide for the in~allation of a traffic signal system at the intersection of Al <br />Moen Drive and Great Northern Boulevard and declaring an emergency. <br />Resohrtion No. 94-64 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Ca~mcil. A resohrtion recognizing April as Fair Housing <br />Month, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Bahas moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mrs. Bahas moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lmd; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resohution No. 94-b4 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 94-65 was introduced and placed on first reac~g by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council A resolution supporting the `None for Under 21" <br />Campaign and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lmd moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lmd moved for adopt~n; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed <br />~manimously. Resolution No. 94-65 adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf <br />of Mr. Nashar. An ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North <br />Olmsted to provide for the in~allation of a "No Left Turn (R 121-24)" sign with a <br />supplemental legend "7:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. Weekdays, Exc~t Buses" sign at the <br />intersection of Revere Drive and Butternut Ridge Road for tragic traveling in a northerly <br />direction on Revere Dritve and turning west onto Butternut Ridge Road and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Owed to enter into <br />an agreement with We~ern Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company to provide <br />engineering services for pavement and sewer improvements on Douglas Drive, Alden <br />Drive, Willet Drive, Dewey Road and Sweetbrier Drive (easterly portion), and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordnance No. 94-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of <br />North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described <br />improvement and to request cooperation by the Director of Transportation. (R~air and <br />resurface Brookpark Road (SR-1?}from Lorain Road (SR 10) to the east corporation Ime <br />in the City of North Olmsted, a distance of 2.11 miles more or less.) A discussion ensued <br />as to whether it was advisable to pass Ordinance 94-68 under suspension of the rules. It <br />was decided to do so. Mr. McKay moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />and committee review; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously.
