Council Minutes of 4/5/94 <br />,~,,, Resolution No. 94-69 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A <br />ewr~ resolution authorizing the Director of Public service to advertise for and accept bids for <br />the videotaping of sewers at various locations in the city, as detailed m the specifications <br />on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 94-70 was introducedl and placed an first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Co~cii. A resoh~tion in support of the State Capital <br />Improvements Program (Isue 2) and urging its resuthorizstic~n and declaring an <br />emergency. Mrs. Beringer waved to surd the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed tin .....:sly. Mrs. Beringer <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; morian passed unanimously. Resohrtion <br />No. 94-70 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending Section 8 and Section 11 of Ordinance No. 94-15 entitled An <br />Ordinance Establishing Rates of Co~ensation for Various Admini~ration and Legislative <br />Personnel and Declaring an Emergency. Mr. Lind moved to su~end the rules requir~g <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Bahss; motion passed usly. <br />Mrs. Beringer commented that, although she had not been in favor of Ordinance 94-15, <br />she did agree with the proposed amendments. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by <br />Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-71 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-72 was introduced. and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance establishing the org~ization of the Fire ~artment of the Department of <br />Pubfic Safety and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved to spend the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-72 adapted. <br />Resolution No. 94-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A final resolution adopting the phms, prapo~mg <br />to cooperate and requesting the Director of Transportation to proceed with the inatefietion <br />of a new traffic signalizatian system for Lorain Road (State Route No. 10), Braokpark <br />Road, (State Route No. 17), Cohu~ia Road and Great Northern Boulevard (State Ratite <br />No. 252), Dover Center Road (County Road No. 58) and Claque Road (County Road <br />No. 52) in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. McKay movexl to suspend the rules rewiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Lind; nation passed unanimously. <br />Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 94-73 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 94-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Personnel and Administrative Services to seek <br />sealed bid proposals for ho~itelizetion, medical-surgical insurance, including stop-loss <br />insurance coverage, turd party aditmini~rative services and benefits for employees of the <br />7 <br /> <br />
