Council Minutes of 3/1/94 <br />~ LEGISLATION (contffiu~,~ <br />,,, Ordinance No. 94-50 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of 5500,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the city's storm water drahtage system by <br />rehabilitating and improving an exiling storm water culvert located under South Barton <br />Road, approximately 1,700 feet south of Lorain Road, refitted tmderground storm water <br />retention basins and related open storm water drainage ditc~tes and acquiring interests in <br />real estate therefor, together with the necessary appurt~ances and work incidental <br />thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lmd moved for susp+~sion of the rules <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lmd <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />94-50 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-51 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $400,000 notes, in anticipation. of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring real estate and paying cons of con~knzcting <br />a fire station thereon, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspen~on of the <br />rules requiring three readings; second by 1Vir. McKay; motion passed unaairnously. Mr. <br />Lmd moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 94-51 adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lmd. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of 5245,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />`~ issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the city's park and recreational facilities <br />by acquiring and installing heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment fotr the <br />community cabin; by resurfacing with asphalt and curbing, and acquiring and installing <br />street lighting for, the Recreation Center parking lot and the driveway from Lorain Road <br />to that parking lot; by reconstructing and paving with concrete the exi~ag walkway from <br />Lorain Road to the Recreation Center; and by draining and landscaping the Recreation <br />Center site, all together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiting three <br />readings; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-52 <br />adopted. <br />Ordnance No. 94-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordnance providing for the issuance and sale of 555,000 notes, in anricipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of renovating, rehabilitating and otherwise improving <br />Town Hall, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved for su~en~on of the rules requiring .three readings; second <br />by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by <br />Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Ordnance No. 94-53 adopted. <br />1Vir.
