An <br />ordinance approving fees proposed to be levied by the Solid Waste Management <br />Policy Committee of the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District on the <br />generation of solid wastes within the District, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-10 was introduced and placed ~ first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for. current expenses and expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1994. <br />Resolution No. 94-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and accept <br />bids for the flowmonitoring of sewers at various locations in the city, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 94-12 was introduced ar~d placed. on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending. the General Offen$es Code of the City of North OLnsted by <br />adding a new Section 509.11 of Chapter 509, entitled "Creating Disturbances on <br />Public Transportation." <br />Resolution No. 94-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Covncil. A resolution supporting Jump-Start <br />America and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lire. moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Nashar, Roll call: <br />Lind, yes; Nashar, yes; Beringer, yes; Musial, yes; McKay, yes; Limpert, no; <br />Bahas, yes. Moticm passed with six affirmative votes and one negative vote. <br />Mayor Boyle explained that this was a continuation of a program begin several <br />years ago. At the time it was first introduced, everyone had agreed that it <br />would be best to reintroduce it each year rather than pass it without a sunset <br />provision. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously.
