.., Council Minutes of 1/18/94 Mayor Boyle thanked Council for appropriating the money to better equip the Service Department. He complimented the Service Department, Police and Fire Departments and NOMBL on the good service given during the inclement weatt~r. Mr. Lind., who rides the city bus to work each day, wanted to ca~mend the bus drivers. Mr. Boetmaer agreed that the city has dedicated workers; a~xl, on behalf of Council, letters of commendation will be sent to the various departments. Ll7GISLATION Re~uton No. 93-156 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for improvements at City Hall by converting an existing storage area into a conference roan and data processing offices in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an urgency. Mr. Lind mrnred for adoption; secor~ by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-156 adopted. Resolution No. 93-157 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for improvements at Town Hall by remodeling offices, including electrical, mechanical, and other improvements at Town Hall in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-157 adapted. Ordinance No. 93-140 introduced by Mayor Boyle encl. the entire Council was given its secorrl reading. An ordinance ame~xling the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted by adding thereto a new Section 1139.11 of Chapter 1139, entitled "Regulation of Superstores" as amended. Ordinance No. 93-154 introduced by Mr. Lind and the entire Council was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by changing the parcels of real property, as hereinafter described, located at the northwest comer of Dover Center Read and Lorain Roads, in the City of North Olmsted, from General Retail Business District to Office Building District. Ordinance No. 93-155 introduced by Mr. Lind and the entire Ccnmcil was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the amen~ent of the Zone Map of the City of North OLnsted by changing the parcel of real property identified as Block "A" an the Cirmamon Woods subdivision preliminary land use plan and located on the west side of Barton Road near the entrance to Cinnamon Woods in the City of North Olmsted, from Mixed Use "B" District to "B" One Family Residence District. Ordinance No. 93-158 introduced by the entire Council was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by changing the parcels of real property, as hereinafter described, located along Lorain road, between Stearns Road and the CEI right-of~way, within the City of North Olmsted, from General Retail Business District to Mined Use "D" District, and further providing for the submission of said amendment to the electors of the City of North Olmsted. Resolution No. 94-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olmsted Wastewater Treat- ment Facilities Plant, arxi declaring an urgency. 6 ~,x~:
