.., <br />Council Minutes of 1/18/94 <br />Mayor Boyle thanked Council for appropriating the money to better equip the <br />Service Department. He complimented the Service Department, Police and Fire <br />Departments and NOMBL on the good service given during the inclement weatt~r. <br />Mr. Lind., who rides the city bus to work each day, wanted to ca~mend the bus <br />drivers. Mr. Boetmaer agreed that the city has dedicated workers; a~xl, on behalf <br />of Council, letters of commendation will be sent to the various departments. <br />Ll7GISLATION <br />Re~uton No. 93-156 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />improvements at City Hall by converting an existing storage area into a <br />conference roan and data processing offices in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an urgency. Mr. Lind mrnred for adoption; secor~ by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-156 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 93-157 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />improvements at Town Hall by remodeling offices, including electrical, <br />mechanical, and other improvements at Town Hall in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Bahas; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-157 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-140 introduced by Mayor Boyle encl. the entire Council was given <br />its secorrl reading. An ordinance ame~xling the Zoning Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted by adding thereto a new Section 1139.11 of Chapter 1139, entitled <br />"Regulation of Superstores" as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 93-154 introduced by Mr. Lind and the entire Council was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the <br />City of North Olmsted by changing the parcels of real property, as hereinafter <br />described, located at the northwest comer of Dover Center Read and Lorain Roads, <br />in the City of North Olmsted, from General Retail Business District to Office <br />Building District. <br />Ordinance No. 93-155 introduced by Mr. Lind and the entire Ccnmcil was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance providing for the amen~ent of the Zone Map of the <br />City of North OLnsted by changing the parcel of real property identified as Block <br />"A" an the Cirmamon Woods subdivision preliminary land use plan and located on <br />the west side of Barton Road near the entrance to Cinnamon Woods in the City of <br />North Olmsted, from Mixed Use "B" District to "B" One Family Residence District. <br />Ordinance No. 93-158 introduced by the entire Council was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of <br />North Olmsted by changing the parcels of real property, as hereinafter described, <br />located along Lorain road, between Stearns Road and the CEI right-of~way, within <br />the City of North Olmsted, from General Retail Business District to Mined Use "D" <br />District, and further providing for the submission of said amendment to the <br />electors of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 94-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind.
