Mayor Boyle thanked the residents for co ' g Dr. DeGroot's report, <br />which verified much of what our Engineering Department had determffied. Mr. Lien <br />noted that Council had not received a copy of Dr. DeGroot's report. Mayor Boyle said he <br />thought that the residents had supplied Council with copies, but he would look into the <br />matter. In response to Mr. Anderson's question as to a timetable on the project, Mayor <br />Boyle stated that the plans are proceeding. The final plans, including expenditures, will <br />soon be presented to Council. <br /> <br />0 <br />Joyce Weber, 5737 Allendale, asked if a sohrttion to the area flooding problem had been <br />found. Service Director Bo answered that the area needs a new dorm sewer which <br />will run directly to the valley. 'Mere is a vacant parcel of property on the eat side of <br />Cohunbia Road that poss~'bly can be used for this purpose. Mr. McKay asked if the <br />excavation work being done in that area is the city's project, and Mr. Bohlnaanxt said it <br />was not. The plans for this new sewer line have not yet been finalized but wilt be part of <br />the overall plan which is to be presented to Council. Mr. Limpert asked when the plans <br />would be presented to Council. Mr. Bahhnann answered that there are a number of <br />projects that need to be reviewed, and he expects to present the plan to Council in <br />November. Mr. Musial asked about the ~atus of the Ehle Ditch. Mr. Bohlmann replied <br />that the job was greatly expanded as a result of the July dorms, but the drawings are now <br />in. The job will be split because fimdhtg is not available for the entire project--the north <br />side of Blossom will be done first. An ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part- <br />time hourly employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordnance No. 95-131 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-137 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public. Service to advertise for bids <br />for 2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second <br />by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously Resolution No. 95-137 adopted. <br />4 <br />
