Council Minutes of 10/1'7/95 <br />Resolution No. 95-143 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mr. Musial was given its <br />second reading. A resohrtion urging the State Legislature to provide far a law which <br />would expressly permit mamicipal corporations to set aside from current fiscal year <br />resources to be placed in a separate fiord (rainy day reserve fund) to pay unanticipated <br />general fund obligations, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Resolution No. 95-144 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution supporting Jump-Start America and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 95-145 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Ohx-sted to enter into an agreement <br />with Polytech Inc. to provide engineering services for an underground sanitary sewage <br />retention system in Claque Park between Beech Lane and Carla Lane, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-146 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District for the year 1996, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordnance No. 95-147 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordnance authorizing the Mayor to eater into an agreement with Ohio Council 8 and <br />Local #2681 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, <br />covering clerical and technical eroployees, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings :and comm~tee review; second <br />by Mr. Lord; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordnance No. 95-147 adopted. <br />Resohution No. 95-148 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution recognizing October as Ibmger <br />Awareness Month, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for su~ension of the <br />rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 95-148 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-149 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordnance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Valley Physician Services, Inc., to provide billing and collection <br />services for the non-resident charges for rendering urgency medical services and <br />ambulance transportation by the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Lind moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Li~ert; <br />motion passed unanimously.
