.' <br />a <br />NIINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />SEPTEMBER 19,1995 <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Limpert, Lind, McKay, <br />Miller, Mural, Nashar, Beringer <br />Also Present: Mayor Boyle (arrived at 8:25 p.m.), Law Director Gareau, Finance <br />Director Burns, Clerk of Council Semen <br />Council President Boehmer called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m m Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance <br />to the Flag. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of September 5, 1993 were approved as written. The <br />minutes of the special Councd meeting of September 6, 1995 were approved as written. <br />Mr. Boehmer announced that Ordinance No. 95-119 would be passed under suspension of <br />the rule. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Boyle was not present at this time. His written report is attached to the minutes. <br />Law Director Gareau: 1) On September 18, attended the Fox case deposition, which <br />lasted approximately five hours. The deposition was continued because Mr. Fox's <br />attorney failed to bring needed documents. It is expected that within the next week the <br />deposition will be concluded and the necessary motions will be filed. <br />2) Attended one of the final sessions of the wage negotiations with the AFSCME <br />employees. <br />3) The Law Department is in the process of preparing necessary paperwork to present to <br />the County Commissioners for the annexation of the Springvale property that falls within <br />the Olmsted Township corporate lines. <br />Finance Director Burns: 1) He has previously sent memos to Council explaining that <br />revenues for the city have continued to maintain their pace, with income tax collections <br />being ahead of what was expected. Projected collections in August were $646,000 and <br />$645,000 was received; Septe~er projections were $703,000 and $701,000 was <br />received. Income tax collections are running approximately $450,000 ahead of projected <br />revenues for the year. <br />
