Council Minutes of 8/15/95 <br />Resolution No. 95-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Pubfic Safety to advertise for bids for emergency <br />rescue vehicles, equipment and accessories to be used by the North Olm~ed Fire <br />Department, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lmd moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readmgs and committee review; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lmd moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed. <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 95-112 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-113 was introduced and placed. on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept on behalf of the City of North Olmsted a gift <br />consisting of sufficient Lexan Glass and accompanying accessories and hardware to <br />surround the Recreation Center ice rink, valued at .approximately $90,000, from the North <br />Olmsted Hockey Club and the West Shore Figure Skating Chib, and ratifying the gift <br />agreement between the Safety Director and said clubs, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Miller moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and corrguittee review; <br />second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Mr'iler moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed. unanimously. Resohution No. 95-113 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-114 was introduc~l and. planed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the sewer <br />improvements in the Georgette Avenue area as detailed in the specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second <br />by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Lmd; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 95-114 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-115 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Pubfic Service to advertise and acct bids for the <br />improvement of the Ehle Ditch as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for <br />suspension of the Wile requiring three readings; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 95-115 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-116 was introduced and placed on firs reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company Inc., to provide <br />engineering services for improvements to the Broxbourne Lift Station, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Musial moved for su~ension of the Hiles requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Musial moved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-116 <br />adopted. <br /> <br />11 <br />
