Council Minutes of 5/3/9S <br />~, Resolution No. 95-59 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resohrtion recognizing May 4, 1995 as the <br />National Day of Prayer and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of <br />the Hiles requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 95-59 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-60 was introduced and placed on first readmg by Mr. Lmd. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />improvement of Beech Lane as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lmd moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Miller; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lmd moved far adoption; second by Mr. Miller; mation passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 95-60 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-61 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providmg for <br />the installation of No Parking signs on the cut de-sac where the former State Route 252 <br />ends which is now known as Cohunbia Road. <br />Ordinance No. 95-62 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordmance providmg for the establishment of a separate fund wherein income generated <br />from non-resident fees charged for rendering of emergency medical service and ambulance <br />transportation shall be deposited into a separate fund and to be used only for the purchase <br />and/or the retirement of debt for Fire Department equipment, buildmgs and land. <br />MbSCELLANE0U5 BUSINESS <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for <br />7:15 p.m on Wednesday, May 10. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for 7 p.m <br />on Wednesday, May 10, to discuss Ordinance 95-61. Safety Director Kesler is asked to <br />attend. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Legislative Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Monday, May S, to <br />discuss the dedication of the fire station and the procedure for amending legislation. <br />Safety Iirector Kesler, Service Director Bohlmanu and Chief Osterhouse are asked to <br />attend. Mayor Boyle suggested that the Legislative Committee also discuss the `~ntra- <br />Governmental" portion of the committee name because he feels it should be `~nter- <br />Governmental." Also, the Mayor suggested that the committee consider eliminating three <br />readings and audience participation for recognition or congratulatory resolutions. <br />~,~., <br />9 <br /> <br />
