Council Minutes of 5/3/95 <br />Ordinance No. 95-49 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />~~~ ordinance to amend Section 1341.03 entitled "Street Cleaning Deposit and Fee" of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Ordinance No. 95-50 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second readmg. An <br />ordinance agreeing to share in the project cost and agreeing to the firture maintenance of <br />improvements for the city to participate in the State Transportation Enhancement Program <br />for the construction of mounding and landscaping along a portion of the proposed <br />Crocker Road in North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending Ordinance No. 94-154 in order to create the position of Assistant <br />Golf Course Superintendent I, and to provide a salary range for that position, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Personnel and Administrative Services to seek <br />sealed bid proposals for hospitalization, medical-surgical insurance, inchedmg stop-loss <br />insurance coverage, third party administrative services and benefits for employees of the <br />City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 95-56 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolurion supporting May, 1995 as <br />Motorcycle Awareness Month, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Lind commented that he had lost his left leg due to a motorcycle <br />accident, and he feels that motorcycle safety and awareness is very important. Mr. Lind <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 95-57 adopted. <br />Resohxtion No. 95-58 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution urging Congress to reinstate a <br />federal revenue sharing pool to be used only for unfunded federal mandates, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously.
