Council Minutes of 4/18/95 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 95-34 introduced by Mr. McKay and Mr. Nashar was given its third <br />reading. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, in the matter of the <br />hereinafter descn`bed improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of <br />Cuyahoga by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the <br />COUNTY. (Cedar Point Road) Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-34 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-37 introduced by Mr. McKay and Mr. Lind was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the improvement of Clague Road Culvert No. 1 near Esther Avenue as detailed in the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 95-37 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-38 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance limiting part-time employment within the City of North Olmsted and declaring <br />an emergency, as amended. Mr. McKay moved to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-38 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-39 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Ordinance 94-157 entitled "An Ordinance Establishing the Method of <br />which Fees for the use of North Olmsted Springvale Golf Course are to be Fixed" and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. Nashar moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-39 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-40 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution supporting the `2Vone for Under 21" Campaign, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. McKay moved to su~end the rules requiring three readings and committee review; <br />second by Mr. Miller; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Miller; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 95-40 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-41 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution observing the Days of Remembrance for the victims of the Holocaust, April 23- <br />30, 1995, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 95-41 adopted. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />
