Council Minutes of 3/7/95 <br />Resolution No. 95-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olm~ed to sign on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted, a consent decree with the United States of America <br />(USEPA) and the State of Ohio for the purpose of settling past disputes from the year <br />1988 to the present, dealing with non-compliance with permit limitations, as well as <br />violations for overflows and by-passes at the sewage treatment plant within the City of <br />North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 95-32 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1363 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North Olmsted entitled Real Property Maintenance Code. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Streets & Drainage meeting for Monday, March 13, for the <br />purpose of discussing Ordinance 95-30. Immediately following, the Legislation <br />Committee will meet. <br />Mr. Lind reminded Council that the Finance Committee/committee-as-a-Whole will meet <br />on Wednesday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. Presentations will be made by Squire, Sanders & <br />Dempsey, National City Bank and Malcolm Pirnie. <br />Mrs. Saringer announced that the public hearing on Ordinance 95-20, legislation which <br />will regulate wall murals in a commercial district, will be held at 7 p.m on Tuesday, <br />March 21. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 8:59 p.m. <br />.. _ <br />,~.e.~. rte: ~~- ~ _ ~~.~,, ~,,,,~~ ~-°~- ~~--~w~ <br />arbara L.
