Council Minutes of 2/7/95 <br />~~ Resolution No. 95-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />,;, behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public <br />Service to advertise for bids for the construction of the sanitary sewer rehabilitation, Phase <br />G, improvements at various locations in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 95-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company, Inc., to provide <br />engineering services for the Georgette Avenue relief sewer project, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 95-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise and accept bids for the <br />improvement ofthe eastern portion of Sweetbrier Drive as detailed in the specifications on <br />file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 95-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1163.23 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled <br />"Exemption to Regulations," and creating new Section 1163.23, entitled, "Regulation of <br />Painted Wall Murals in Commercial Districts." <br />Ordinance No. 95-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform, part-time <br />personnel of the Police Department and declaring an emergency. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked that Ordinance 95-20 be referred to the Planning Commission. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Legislative Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, <br />February 22, and requested that Human Resources Director Copeland attend. <br />Immediately following that meeting, the Streets & Drainage and Finance Committees will <br />meet to discuss Ordinances 95-11 through and including Ordinance 95-17 and Ordinance <br />95-19. Service Director Bohlnaann and Finance Director Burns are asked to attend. Mr. <br />Musial suggested that Ordinance 95-7 be added to the agenda for discussion at the <br />Finance Committee meeting and asked that Safety Director Kesler attend. Mr. McKay <br />noted that Finance Committee Chairperson Lmd would be out of town on that day and <br />would not be able to attend the committee meeting, but he and fellow committee member <br />Mr. Musial would be able to conduct the meeting. <br />After a lengthy discussion, it was decided to consider the Steams Road mounding at a <br />meeting of Council-as-a-Whole. Mr. Nashar tentatively set the meeting for 7 p.m on <br />Monday, February 20. Service Director Bohlnann, Finance Director Burns and Mayor <br />,F,.
