Council Minutes of 1/3/95 <br />Ordinance No. 94-183 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mayor Boyle was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1995, as <br />amended. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second <br />by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-183 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 94-184 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mayor Boyle was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance authorizing the annexation of certain unincorporated <br />territory currently located in Olmsted Township to the City of North Olmsted, directing <br />the Director of Law to pursue measures necessary to effectuate such annexation, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 95-1 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by <br />changing the hereinafter described parcels of real property from General Retail Business <br />and Single Family Residence B District to Senior Residence District. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />For the benefit of the audience, Mrs. Saringer commented that Ordinance 94-161 <br />establishes the salary for the position of Council at-Large for the next term of office and <br />brings the salary in line with that of Ward Council Members. Salary increases cannot be <br />made during the term of office. <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Connmittee meeting for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, <br />to discuss 1995 appropriations and Ordinance 94-162. He requested that Mayor Boyle, <br />Finance Director Burns and Law Director Gareau attend. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Bahas; second by Mr. Lind; motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 8:47 p.m. <br />--~ _ ~~, <br />Barbara L.
