Council Minutes of 9/17/96 <br />which might affect exiting Wisteria; how will traffic signalization work for vehicles <br />proceeding west on Mill Road to take a right turn onto Porter and a left turn onto North <br />Park; no current traffic signalization on North Park Drive. This morning, a board of <br />control meeting was held to select the lowest, best and most responsive bidder for this <br />project. We will proceed with the project and do have the ability at a later date to review <br />the entire intersection again. We do have the right to add a change order or not perform a <br />part of the project. We must begin construction by October I5, but the vast majority of <br />the job will be done in the spring. No paving work will be done this year, but there will be <br />utility work and storm sewer work. There is time for a change in the portion of the <br />project that is concerning Mrs. Kummer. If we do not break ground soon, the Issue 2 <br />funds will be lost. <br />Alex Rychlik, 27900 North Park Drive, wanted Council to table the Porter/Mill project <br />until next year. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 96-88 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance renewing the non-exclusive franchise agreement between the City of North <br />Olmsted and Cablevision Systems Corporation granting it the right to construct, operate <br />and maintain a cable system for the purpose of transmitting, receiving, amplifying and <br />distributing analog and digital, television, radio, data signals and for any other purpose <br />permitted by law by the City of North Olmsted for a fifteen (15) year period, as amended. <br />Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-88 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-115 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />Joseph T. and Marilyn C. Malicki and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 235-29-O1 by <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "B" and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Saringer; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-115 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-117 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />Great Northern Shopping Center and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 235-27-1 <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "B" and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-117 adopted. <br />10 <br /> <br />
