Council Minutes of S/20/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-148 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of Mayor Boyle. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted <br />to enter into an agreement with Adache-Ciuni-Lynn Associates, Inc. to provide <br />engineering services for the design of drainage improvements for the Brookpark to <br />Mastick storm relief sewer, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-150 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf <br />of Mayor Boyle. An ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance Number 95-111 entitled <br />"An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various position to staff North <br />Olmsted Springvale Golf Course and establish a schedule of benefits and compensation to <br />be paid to members of that staff, and declaring an emergency, as amended", and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-151 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer on <br />behalf of Mayor Boyle. An ordinance establishing the method by which fees for programs <br />and the use of the facilities of the Parks and Recreation Department are to be fixed, and <br />repealing Ordinance Number 96-114 and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-151 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 96-152 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on <br />behalf of Mayor Boyle. A resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit and <br />seek financial assistance from the State Issue 2 Infrastructure Bond Program for funding <br />of various municipal capital infrastructure improvements projects, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 96-152 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 96-153 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf <br />of Mayor Boyle. A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1, 1997, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-154 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady on <br />behalf of Mayor Boyle. An ordinance adopting a new part nineteen to the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio entitled "Fair Housing Code" providing <br />for a fair housing policy consistent with the goals of 42 U.S.C. Section 1981 (Civil Rights <br />Act) and 42 U.S.C. Section 3601 (Fair Housing Act) and Ohio Rev. Code Ann. Section <br />4112.02 (H) (Fair Housing Act) prohibiting discrimination in all aspects of the sale, rental, <br />and occupancy of dwellings in the City of North Olmsted on the basis of race, color, <br />religion, sex ancestry, familial status, age, sexual orientation, national origin or handicap. <br />13 <br /> <br />
