Council Minutes of 7/2/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert on <br />~~,, behalf of Mr. Lind. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise <br />for bids for the purchase of one (1) sidewalk snow plow with diesel engine to be used by <br />the Service Department. Mr. Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Limpert moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-112 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-113 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication the Barton Oaks subdivision which includes Jacqueline <br />Lane, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-114 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance establishing the method by which fees for programs and the use of the facilities <br />of the Parks and Recreation Department are to be fixed, and repealing Ordinance <br />No. 93-45 and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. <br />Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-114 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance extending the existing Cablevision of the Midwest, Inc. franchise agreement <br />with the City of North Olmsted for a period from August 1, 1996 until October 3, 1996, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-116 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. O'Grady congratulated Mr. Limpert and his family on the appointment of his son <br />Duane to the United States Military Academy at West Point. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Lind; second by Mr. Nashar; motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 9:02 p.m. <br />'' -co <br />arbara L.
