Council Minutes of 6/18/96 <br />LEGISLATION <br />, Ordinance No. 96-87 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a traffic control equipment easement located on property owned by <br />Garland L. and Martha L. Hogue and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 235-16-01 by <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "B" and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-87 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-89 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for the <br />installation of "No Parking" signs on the fire hydrant side of Alexander Road, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-89 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-91 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the removal of the "No Left Turn" sign on southbound Dover Center Road at the Toys-R- <br />Us entrance, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-91 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-92 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance ratifying and confirming the sale of city owned property known as Fire Station <br />No. 1 (at Lorain Road and Great Northern Boulevard) and authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract on behalf of the city for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-92 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-93 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 541.05 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Criminal Trespass," in order to provide a misdemeanor penalty for <br />unauthorized skate boarding on private property, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 96-93 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 96-94 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />improvements to Old Town Hall and data processing offices at City Hall as detailed in the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Musial. Roll call: <br />Saringer, yes; Musial, yes; Limpert, yes; McKay, no. Mr. McKay explained he voted no <br />because he would like to see the money used to pay back some of the city borrowings, <br />which would free up funds to address the flooding problems in his ward. Roll call <br />continued: Nashar, yes; O'Grady, yes. Mr. O'Grady said he fully supported Councilman <br />McKay's concern about the flooding issues in his ward, specifically the problem on <br />~'~ Allendale.
