<br />Council Minutes of 6/18/96 <br />~,, At this point, Mrs. Saringer commented on two items: 1) She apologized to Mrs. Grady <br />~, for the problems with her husband's grave. Mr. Grady was an honored veteran, and a city <br />baseball diamond was named after him. 2) She asked Mr. McKay, member of the Finance <br />Committee, whether the committee had discussed not going forward with the <br />improvements to Old Town Hall and City Hall so that the funds could be used for the <br />flooding problem in his ward. Mr. McKay said the issue had been discussed and two <br />members of the committee felt that the Old Town Hall and City Hall improvements were <br />necessary. Mr. Limpert called for a point of order as there was further legislation on the <br />agenda. President Boehmer informed Mrs. Saringer of this fact and called for the <br />continued reading of the legislation. <br />LEGISLATION (CONTINUED) <br />Ordinance No. 96-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance accepting three (3) storm drainage easements located adjacent to the Ehle Ditch <br />(south of Edgepark Boulevard, crossing Blossom Boulevard) in the City of North <br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance accepting three (3) storm drainage easements required for the Georgette <br />AvenueBrendan Lane sewer improvement project in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance creating a new and revised Chapter 1701 of the Fire Prevention Code entitled <br />"Ohio Fire Code." <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a meeting of the Long-Range Planning Committee for Tuesday, <br />July 2, at 7 p.m. to discuss the proposed revision to the sewer rates. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Safety Committee meeting for 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2.
