Council Minutes of 5/21/96 <br />.. be done on second reading. Mr. Gareau explained that the original- agreement had to be <br />re-worked and the legislation drawn up. Time is of the essence because we will be in <br />business with Angelina's Pizza within the next week. He noted that the city will be <br />making 10% on all sales. Mr. McKay said he felt it should not be delayed because Council <br />had discussed this issue earlier in the year. Mr. Saringer moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay. Roll call: Saringer, yes; McKay, yes; <br />Limpert, yes; Musial, yes; Nashar, yes; O'Grady, no. Motion passed with five affirmative <br />votes and one negative vote. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-95 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Musial moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Lind; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Limpert scheduled a Transportation Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />May 28, to discuss Ordinance 96-87. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting on <br />Tuesday, May 28, at 7:35 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 96-89, 96-90, 96-91 and 96-93. He <br />asked that Safety Director Kasler attend. <br />Mr. O'Grady and Mr. Musial noted that a tentative date of June 17 had been set for the <br />next meeting of the Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range Planning <br />Committee. Mr. Musial has contacted members of the school administration who will <br />attend to speak about their strategic planning methods. <br />Mr. Boehmer announced the agenda for the Memorial Day ceremonies, Monday May 27: <br />• Flag Raising at City Hall at 8 a.m. <br />• Coe Cemetery services at 8:15 a.m. <br />• Butternut Ridge Cemetery services at 8:30 a.m. <br />• Assembly at City Hall, 9:30 a.m, <br />• Parade to North Olmsted Park, 9:45 a.m. <br />• Services at North Olmsted Park, 10 a.m. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 9:15 p.m, <br />~,1 ~ <br />'' Barbara L.
