Council Minutes of 5/21/96 <br />Ordmance No. 96-88 was introduced and placed on first readmg by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance renewing the non-exclusive franchise agreement between the City of North <br />Olmsted and Cablevision Systems Corporation, granting it the right to constrict, operate, <br />and maintain a cable system for the purpose of transmitting, receiving, amplifying and <br />distributing analog and digital, television, radio data signals and for any other purpose <br />permitted by law by the City of North Olmsted for a fifteen (15) year period. <br />Ordinance No. 96-89 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the installation of "No Parking" signs on the fire hydrant side of Alexander Road, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-90 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf <br />of Mr. Lind. An ordmance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted <br />by providing for the removal of "No Stopping or Standing" signs on the west side of <br />North Columbia Road from the city line to Lorain Road and further providing for the <br />installation of "No Parking" signs in the same locale, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the removal of the `2To Left Turn" sign on southbound Dover Center Road at the Toys-R <br />Us entrance, and declaring an emergency <br />Ordinance No. 96-92 was introduced and placed on first readmg by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance ratifying and confirming the sale of city owned property known as Fire Station <br />No. 1 (at Lorain Road and Great Northern Boulevard) and authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract on behalf of the city for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-93 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending Section 541.05 of the General Offenses Code of the City of North <br />Olmsted, entitled "Criminal Trespass" in order to provide a misdemeanor penalty for <br />unauthorized skate boarding on private property, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 96-94 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />improvements to Old Town Hall and data processing offices at City Hall as detailed in the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Moordough, Inc., DBA Angelina's Pizza, for the purpose of providing concessions at <br />four city parks, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Boyle asked that Council consider <br />passing the legislation under suspension of the rules so sales can begin for the summer <br />season.
