<br />Council Minutes of 4/2/96 <br />Ordinance No. 96-46 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance to <br />~_ amend Section 943.02 entftled `~Ieadstones, Monuments and Markers," Section 943.06 <br />entitled "Individual Grave Price" and Section 943.07 entitled `Mates for Opening and <br />Closing Graves" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. Mr. <br />Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 96-46 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-49 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and expenditures for the City of <br />North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1996, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 96-50 introduced by Mr. Nashar on behalf of himself and Mr. McKay was <br />given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North <br />Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Howard, Needles, Tammen and Bergendorff to <br />provide engineering services pertaining to revising the sidewalk plans for a seven foot <br />wide reinforced concrete sidewalk on the west side of Crocker Road north of Lorain Road <br />for the proposed Crocker-Stearns Road in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-51 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance granting to Ameritech New Media Inc. of a non-exclusive franchise, granting it <br />the right to construct, operate, and maintain a cable system for the purpose of <br />transmitting, receiving, amplifying and distn~uting analog and digital, television, radio <br />data signals and for any other purpose permitted by law by the City of North Olmsted for <br />a fifteen (15) year period as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 96-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into <br />an agreement with Chagrin Valley Engineering, Ltd. to provide engineering services <br />pertaining to drainage improvements for the Allendale-Carey area, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Boehmer announced that a special Council meeting would be held on Wednesday, <br />April 3, at 6:45 p.m. <br />Mr. Lind announced that at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, a Council-as-a-Whole meeting <br />requested by the Finance Committee would be held to discuss the capital improvements <br />plan for 1996 and 1997.
