Council Minutes of 2/6/96 <br />~;~ Ordinance No. 96-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />~~. ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company to provide engineering services <br />for analysis of the West Park-Forest Ridge storm sewer system and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 96-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for printing of the <br />Spring/Summer and Autuznn/Winter North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Department <br />brochure, as per specifications now on file in her office, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Limpert; motion <br />passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 96-33 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1309 of the Building Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Lind announced that the Finance and Streets & Drainage Committees would have a <br />joint meeting. He will notify the Clerk of Council of the date. <br />Mr. Musial will schedule a BZD Committee meeting and notify the Clerk of the date. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked Mr. Bohhnann to firther explain the BFI proposal for refuse pickup. <br />The Mayor and Mr. Bohlmann explained that BFI will change the pickup days for refuse <br />and recyclables to Wednesdays and Thursdays. Servicing the entire city in two days will <br />improve safety and eliminate unsightly trash from sitting out on the treelawns all weekend. <br />BFI will advertise in the newspapers and notify all residents of the date changes.
