Council Minutes of 12/2/97 -r Ordinance No. 94-110 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. An .~, ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, which map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing the premises hereinafter described from Limited Industry District and Mixed Use District to "B" Residence District, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved to table; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-110 is tabled. Ordinance No. 97-115 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a tax exemption agreement between the City of North Olmsted and YIRS, Ltd., and declaring an emergency. Mayor Boyle noted that YIRS, Ltd. is the holding company that owns the property and Schirmer is the construction company. Schirmer pays the income tax, which is shared. Their holding company receives the tax abatement. Mr. McKay moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-115 adopted. Ordinance No. 97-116 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of an agreement with the North Olmsted City School District providing for the sharing of certain municipal income tax revenues related to a project to be owned and constructed by Schirmer Construction Co., and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-116 adopted. Ordinance No. 97-117 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1997. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Mr. Musial scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, to discuss senior housing and assisted living and other miscellaneous business. The Law Director is asked to attend. Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee meeting to follow the BZD meeting on Tuesday, December 9. Finance Director Burns is asked to attend.
