Council Minutes of 12/2/97 <br />Ordinance No. 97-114 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section Two of Ordinance Number 96-56, which establishes rates of <br />compensation for various administration and legislative personnel, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 96-174 introduced by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council was given. its <br />second reading. A resolution expressing opposition to Ohio Senate Bill 118 which <br />prohibits local governments from adopting building regulations contrary to those adopted <br />by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved to table; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 96-174 is tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 96-161 introduced by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance amending Sections 1123.13 and 1123.14 of the North <br />Olmsted Zoning Code in order to provide for Councilmanic review of use variances <br />granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals. Mr. Lind moved to table; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-161 is tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 96-155 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />amendments to Section 4 of Article III, and Section 3 of Article IV of the Charter of <br />North Olmsted to provide for an amendment to the method of succession to the office of <br />Mayor in the event of absence or a vacancy in the office of Mayor, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved to table; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-155 is tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 96-123 introduced by Mayor Boyle and the entire Council was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance approving a new sewer capital charges agreement between <br />the City of North Olmsted and the City of Fairview Park under which a portion of the City <br />of Fairview Park is served by the city's sanitary sewer system modifying the existing <br />capital charges agreement, authorizing the execution of the new agreement, as amended <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved to table; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-123 is tabled <br />Ordinance No. 96-100 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1139.06 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled "Lot <br />Area and Width" of Chapter 1139 entitled "Business Districts". Mr. O'Grady moved to <br />table; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-100 is tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 96-102 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1145.03 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code, entitled "Uses <br />Permitted" of Chapter 1145 entitled "Limited Industry-Industrial Park District" by adding <br />thereto a new subsection (G) entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses by Conditional Use <br />Permit".
