Council Minutes of 11/18/97 <br />Resolution No. 97-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the City of North <br />Olmsted to implement a plan to purchase additional service credit tax-deferred by payroll <br />deduction, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 97-111 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 97-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance adopting a new Section 1501.1504 entitled "Personal Liability" within Part <br />Fifteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio entitled Taxation <br />Code, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-113 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance amending Section One of Ordinance Number 96-56, which establishes rates of <br />compensation for various administration and legislative personnel, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-114 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance amending Section Two of Ordinance Number 96-56, which establishes rates of <br />compensation for various administration and legislative personnel and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee meeting on Monday, November 24, at 6:30 p.m. <br />and asked that Directors Bohlmann and Burns and Mayor Boyle attend. <br />Mr. McKay asked that the Streets & Drainage Committee members attend the Finance <br />Committee meeting as one of the pieces of legislation would be discussed by both <br />committees. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 8:40 p.m. <br />Barbara L.
