Council Minutes of 11/5/97 <br />"~ ~~ Ordinance No. 97-101 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $100,000 notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring and equipping an emergency rescue vehicle <br />for use in carrying out functions of the Division of Fire of the Department of Public <br />Safety; and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind noted that the fiscal ofIicer's certificate was <br />attached to the ordinance. <br />Ordinance No. 97-102 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Walter & Haverfield to provide telecommunications consulting services with respect <br />to wireless communications systems and installations and declaring an emergency. Mayor <br />Boyle noted that the legislation will probably be amended to include a cost limit on what <br />can be charged by the consultant. <br />Ordinance No. 97-103 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 911.07 entitled "Building Sewers and <br />Connections" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, November 11, at <br />7:15 p.m. and requested that Mayor Boyle, Finance Director Burns and a representative <br />from the proposed consultant firm attend. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Streets & Drainage meeting for Tuesday, November 11, at 7 p.m. <br />and requested that Service Director Bohlmann attend. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Safety Committee meeting to immediately follow the Finance <br />Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 11. The committee will discuss Ordinance <br />No. 97-100. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting at 8:22 p.m. <br />LzLt~.tiuc- ~ , <br />arbara L.
