Council Minutes of 10/21/97 <br />,,,~ Ordinance No. 97-94 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />- ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances by adopting current replacement pages; and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings <br />and committee review; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />97-94 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 97-95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar on behalf <br />of Mayor Boyle and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District for the year 1998, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-96 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on behalf of <br />Mr. Musial. An ordinance accepting for dedication the Bridgeport Village Subdivision <br />which includes Maple Ridge Road (west extension), Sharon Drive (east extension), <br />Woodview Drive (east extension) and Bridgeport Drive (entirely), in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 97-97 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Limpert on behalf <br />of Mayor Boyle and the entire Council. A resolution opposing the rezoning of Parcel E <br />(located on the north side of Brookpark Road across from Wal-Mart) from Office use to <br />Retail use and declaring an emergency. Mr. Limpert moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Limpert moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-97 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 97-98 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br />the installation of regulatory symbol signs R-69C-12, to prohibit parking in the turn- <br />around stubs provided on the south side, east end of Summerland Avenue and Virginia <br />Avenue, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-99 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br />the installation of regulatory signs R-55-12, "No Parking Anytime," on both sides of Mill <br />Road between Porter and Dover Center Road and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Limpert moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Musial and Mr. Boehmer; second by Mr. <br />O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Lind scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on November 5. <br />7 <br />~... <br />
