Council Minutes of 10/21/97 <br />;~.. <br />Resolution No. 97-87 introduced by Mr. Musial on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for <br />bids for partial depth concrete joint repair on various streets in the City of North Olmsted, <br />as per specifications now on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 97-88 introduced by Mr. Musial on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for <br />bids for diesel fuel and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per <br />specifications now on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-89 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />installation of "No Right Turn on Red" signs at Cedar Point Road and Valley Parkway <br />regulating traffic traveling in a northerly direction on Valley Parkway and turning in an <br />easterly direction on Cedar Point Road, and traffic traveling in a westerly direction on <br />Cedar Point Road and turning in a northerly direction on Valley Parkway and declaring an <br />emergency as amended. <br />Resolution No. 97-90 introduced by Mrs. Saringer on behalf of herself, Mr. Nashar and <br />Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. A resolution supporting the referendum effort <br />against the Workers' Compensation Reform Bill (SB45), as amended and declaring an <br />emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 97-90 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 97-91 introduced by Mr. Musial on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the <br />deposit of public monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the <br />active and interim account of the city. <br />Resolution No. 97-92 introduced by Mr. Musial on behalf of Mr. Lind was given its <br />second reading. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 1998, all money due and owing said city from <br />any collection source. <br />Resolution No. 97-93 introduced by Mr. O'Grady on behalf of himself, Mr. McKay, Mr. <br />Nashar and Mr. Lind was given its second reading. A resolution supporting the upgrading <br />of I-71 from four lanes to six lanes between State Route 18 in Medina County to Route 42 <br />in Cuyahoga County. Mr. O'Grady moved to table; second the Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 97-93 is tabled. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />
