Council Minutes of 9/16/97 <br />Ordinance No. 97-75 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance designating a percentage of income tax revenues derived from tax abatement <br />projects to the city's Economic Development Fund, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 97-78 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance designating revenues derived from the lease of city property for Cablevision's <br />use be deposited to the Recreation Capital Improvement Fund, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved to table Ordinance No. 97-78; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-78 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 97-79 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to establish within the Capital Improvement Fund Group a "Parks and <br />Recreation Capital Improvement Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Lind moved to table Ordinance No. 97-79; second by Mr. McKay; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-79 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 97-80 was introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the entire <br />Council. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Walter <br />H. Drane Company to provide professional services in updating the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved to <br />suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, asked what. the cost of the <br />recodification would be. Mr. Burns explained there is a base charge plus a per page <br />charge, which will not change from the old contract. The last couple of years the cost has <br />been running a little in excess of $3,000 a year. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second <br />by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-80 adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 97-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of the Brookpark Road <br />rehabilitation Phase I and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-82 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance to make additional appropriations for the current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1997. <br />,; <br />6 <br /> <br />
